I don't know the exact chemical composition of the salt that they put down on the MIT campus. The resulting color, however, is such that all the melting snow I encounter here looks like I've been rubbing my head in it.

So I'm in Au Bon Pain by Kendall Square waiting for the woman with whom I was scheduled to have a lunch meeting, when a woman already in the dining area approaches me.

Yesterday at the gym my iAudio played Voltaire's "The Sexy Data Tango" and followed it immediately with "Mr. Spock" by Nerf Herder.

Amazingly, it did not then throw out "David Duchovny" OR "(I Wanna Fuck) Jean-Luc Picard." Or even "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins." ...Wow. I wonder if I have enough of these for a mix.

Today at the gym, there was some bimbo in the weight room TALKING ON HER CELL PHONE WHILE USING THE WEIGHT MACHINES.

She went through at least two machines yapping on her phone. Words fail me, dude.

I just discovered that Bran Van 3000's track "More Shopping" contains the lines:

"East is East and West is West
New York City to Dunsinane"

This amuses me.
